As a Plantforce Operator, you’ll be representing us on customer sites, using your skills to operate their machinery safely, professionally, and to the highest standard. You’ll play a key role in keeping their projects moving, supporting site teams with reliable, efficient operation every day. It’s a hands‑on role where you’ll stay compliant with industry standards, work with a variety of equipment, and bring confidence and expertise to every job. And throughout it all, you’ll be backed by a team who understands the industry and is here to support you whenever you need it.

You’ll need the relevant industry-recognised tickets for the type of machinery you operate (such as NPORS or CPCS). If you have additional certifications, that’s always a bonus.
We don’t currently offer apprenticeships, but we’re always interested in operators who are developing their skills. If this changes in the future, we’ll update our opportunities.

No, this is not a direct employment role. You’ll be working with us on a self‑employed or subcontract basis.
As soon as a suitable placement becomes available, we’ll let you know right away. We aim to give as much notice as possible, but some jobs may require short‑notice availability.
Rates vary depending on the location, shift length, and client requirements. We’ll always confirm the rate upfront before you accept any job.
Where a job requires overnight stays, we’ll let you know if a digs allowance is available. This can vary from project to project.
