Job Purpose:

Overseeing the Weston Hire Desk team and other depots when required, To lead and support the hire desk team in delivering efficient, compliant, and customer-focused plant hire services, you will be responsible for coordinating the ‘on hire and off hire’ process, while contributing to strategic initiatives and operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the Weston hire desk, ensuring accurate and timely processing of plant and equipment hire orders.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, resolving queries and complaints, and building strong client relationships.
  • Supporting the Line Manger with insights, KPIs, and Reports.
  • Arranging the hire contracts for equipment for bookings.
  • Coordinate and liaise with Customers, Transport, Sales and the Workshop.
  • Monitoring and organising contracts and invoicing.
  • Working with customers to develop relationships
  • Checking availability of equipment and ensuring that details are accurate and up to date.

 Requirements and qualifications:

  • Experience in plant hire
  • Experience of the Syrinx system is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
  • Right to work in the UK
