Job Purpose:
Plantforce is looking for a Workshop Fitter to join our expanding team of engineers.
This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and experienced team who take pride in delivering a first class service to our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs as required
- Fault Finding on electrical and hydraulic equipment
- Inspection work for equipment leaving or returning to the depot
- Prepare, test and install plant attachments to machinery
- Carrying out servicing works in line with manufacturers standards.
- General housekeeping of work areas to ensure workshop and external depot are kept to a high standard
Skills and attributes:
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Team Player mindset
- Strong knowledge of plant and construction equipment required
- Welding skills
- NVQ in construction plant maintenance
Requirements and qualifications:
- Right to work in the UK
- Full Driving Licence
