Job Purpose:
This role will involve being responsible for managing the procurement and deployment of our high-spec fleet equipment across our national projects. This is a varied job that requires attention to detail overseeing in excess of 2000 units, technical knowledge and the ability to work on your own initiative.
Main Responsibilities:
- Management of new plant equipment: Oversee the procurement and deployment of high-spec fleet equipment from ordering through to delivery to site.
- Efficient, timely and cost-effective processes: Manage the purchase and delivery process for new plant equipment and the disposal of redundant plant equipment.
- Registration with OEM’s: Ensure that new equipment is registered with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
- Telematics and Tracking Equipment: Arrange the installation and deinstallation of telematics, tracking equipment, and any additional project or compliance requirements.
- Maintaining Internal Systems: Update internal systems with new equipment, documentation, supplier performance, warranty information, equipment maintenance, and service requirements.
- Compliance with Legislation: Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations, including adhering to industry standards and best practices for equipment safety.
- Product Awareness Training: Liaising with OEM’s as necessary to ensure all staff are appropriately trained on items of new equipment

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment

- Strong Microsoft office skills

- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Good understanding of health and safety best practice and legislation
Essential Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Full Driving Licence
Beneficial skills and qualifications:
- Experience in the plant hire industry and use of telematics.
