Fleet Investment Strategy

Through our forward-thinking fleet investment strategy, we’re adopting cleaner, more efficient technologies that align with our vision of a greener tomorrow.

By prioritising low-emission and high-efficiency equipment, we help our customers reduce fuel consumption, lower operating costs, and minimise carbon footprints. Our strategy focuses on: Selecting machines with advanced fuel-saving technology. Investing in stage V-compliant engines and hybrid systems. Continuous testing and evaluation of the latest technology updated in the market.

We were the first company in the UK to run a high number of hybrid drive excavators, demonstrating our commitment to reducing emissions and fuel usage. Early adoptors of hybrid technology to optimise fuel efficiency. Trialing and implementing new machine models ahead of the market. Partnering with manufacturers to develop and test next-generation technology.

As future of construction machinery transitions away from fossil fuels, and we are actively investing in hybrid, electric and hydrogen driven plant equipment to drive a greener industry.

To ensure maximum efficiency and reliability, we operate a fleet with a consistently low age profile. This means: Regular investment in the latest models, keeping our fleet modern and technologically advanced. Minimising downtime and maintenance costs with newer, more reliable equipment. Ensuring complaince by giving our customers access to the most recent engine technology.

Eco-Operator Training Programme

With our efforts to build a fleet of fuel efficient machines, it is even more important that we train the machine operators in how they can make these machines both productive and efficient. Our Eco-Operator Training Programme equips operators with the skills to drive efficiency and reduce emissions, ensuring our operations stay environmentally conscious. This is something that we provide to all of our operators, but we can also roll this out to our customer’s teams on-site using our purpose-built training trailer.
