Plantforce is a national supplier of plant hire equipment to the construction, rail, major projects and energy industries. With established contracts such as HS2 and Hinkley Point, we continue to expand and invest in our workshops.
We are now recruiting a senior Workshop Plant Fitter to join our highly skilled team based out of the Plantforce Weston Super Mare depot. This is a permanent position with the ability to offer an immediate start.
Main duties will include:
- Routine Servicing and repairs to construction-based plant and machinery.
- Carrying out Pre and Post delivery inspections.
- Diagnostics and Fault Finding .
- Accurately record jobs, working to company procedures.
- Ongoing learning and training for new equipment and skills
- Assist the Workshop Supervisor with training and setting standards
- Providing feedback to workshop teams and Plantforce management.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in Plant Engineering.
- Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical experience.
- Ability to work as part of a team.

Plantforce engineers operate from Monday to Friday and on Saturday when required, giving flexibility to finish times with opportunity for overtime.
