Hire Controller (Implant) – Greater Manchester (Haydock)

Job Purpose:

Plantforce Rentals is looking for a results-oriented Hire Controller to join our team, working directly from one of our major customer sites in Haydock. This on-site role is ideal for a sales-focused professional who excels at managing hire desk operations and actively driving plant hire opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary on-site hire desk representative, managing all aspects of the hire desk and ensuring a smooth, seamless and efficient service for our client.
• Proactively identify and secure additional plant hire opportunities, by working closely with our customer to build and develop relationships.
• Liaise and coordinate within Plantforce to ensure all equipment is prepared and delivered on time.
• To respond to customer requests within the required timescale to secure the hire.
• Keep meticulous records, with particular focus on invoicing and documentation accuracy.
• Address client inquiries promptly and professionally, strengthening customer relationships.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in a customer-facing, sales-driven role in a plant hire environment. 
• Ability to work under pressure, in a time critical environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to foster client relationships and drive business opportunities.
• Proficient with MS Office and hire desk software applications.  Full training will be given.
